The Association Povratnici 2022 Futog organized promotion of the E Primer (Economic Primer) project in Novi Sad.

On 23 December, the premises of the Egység Cultural Station in Novi Sad hosted a conference for journalists and professional audience, as part of a project supported by the Republic of Serbia’s office of the minister without portfolio in charge of coordinating activities and measures in the field of relations between the Republic of Serbia and the diaspora, upon a public call for the allocation of funding and co-financing within the program of financial support, measures and activities in the field of preserving and strengthening relations between the Republic of Serbia and the diaspora through support to associations of the diaspora, the region and the home country in 2024, related to the activities that contribute particularly to the improvement of economic cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the diaspora and Serbs in the region and to encouraging return of young people to the Republic of Serbia by affirming and presenting the Republic of Serbia’s economic potential within the project titled E Primer (Economic Primer).

The audience was first addressed by Jelena Mitrović Ilin, president of the Association Povratnici 2022 Futog, who said that there was an increase in the number of displaced Serbs returning to their homeland, as a place where they had a good climate for their families, social inclusion, education, and business development.

The E Primer should be a must-read for every Serb, whether located on the continent or living in the Republic of Serbia, but also a motivation to learn about the Republic of Serbia as a homeland able to boast a business environment and conditions serving to stimulate those planning to work and create there.

The practical guide directs each future or existing entrepreneur with instructions given in the advisory section, and also with the practical section offering every link that is available and useful as an integral part of the digital society and services that need to be accessed for work, registration, enrollment of children in kindergartens or issuance of personal documents or certificates.

The practical guide will be placed through 4 associations that have verified cooperation, which deal with motivating the diaspora in different parts of the world. By the end of the year, the E Primer will have its own online link and be generally available; for the time being, it is a more than 90 pages PDF electronic presentation.
