Six young chefs from the Down Syndrome Center Banja Luka are participating in the 15th jubilean International Youth Gastronomic Festival Reviving Tradition Victory Easter, to be held on 18 May at the Central Museum of Victory in Moscow.
Six new young chefs from the Banja Luka Down Syndrome Center will present the Easter traditions of the Republic of Srpska, its customs, as well as the traditional Easter cuisine at this gastronomic festival.
They will compete in the student category on the topic Easter in My City.
The organizers of the festival are the Revival and Tradition Center from Moscow and the Danilov Male Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate).
The Down Syndrome Center Banja Luka and its chefs participated in the International Christmas Gastronomic Festival in Moscow in January, winning first place for the Christmas Pastries nomination and a recognition by the City of Moscow for conducting social rehabilitation and work training for people with Down syndrome.
