The Days of Serbian Culture – Desanka’s Days were held in Lugano, Switzerland, organized by the Serbian Cultural Association Desanka Maksimović from Lugano.

Among others, the third secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bern, Stefan Zlatanov, greeted the present guests. He emphasized the importance of Serbian-Swiss friendship and spoke about the position of the Serbian diaspora in Switzerland. He also devoted special attention to the life and work of Desanka Maksimović.

Rada Rajić presented the book of poetry Komad neba (A Piece of Heaven). Dancers of the Serbian Cultural Association Desanka Maksimović and Serbian Cultural Association Sveti Sava presented folklore dances. After the dances, members of the Swiss Cultural and Artistic Association from Bellinzona presented Serbian and Swiss folk costumes. The event ended with a presentation about the life of Mileva Marić-Einstein.
