We gathered today prayerfully and congregationally in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Rotterdam to mark the Day of the Republic of Srpska and Candlemas – the Statehood Day of Serbia, said the Serb member of BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović.

– By celebrating these two important holidays for Serbia and Srpska together, our compatriots in Rotterdam witness in the most beautiful way that we are one and indivisible people, wherever we live – said Cvijanović.

Cvijanović states that in the Netherlands, same as throughout Europe and the world, the Serbian community gathers around the church, which is the most constant guardian of our identity, traditions and customs.

– Thank you, our hosts, for the invitation. It is always with great pleasure that I visit our people abroad, trying to contribute as much as possible to strengthening the ties between the diaspora and the institutions of the Republic of Srpska – said Cvijanović.
