A Republic of Srpska House, featuring products from both Herzeg and Krajina House, will open in Vienna on 11 December, said the director of the Trebinje Agrarian Fund, Veselin Dutina.

– For the first time, Herzeg House will appear on the EU market together with Krajina House, and the two brands will be united under one – the Republic of Srpska House – said Dutina.

He added that for the time being, 10 to 15 local producers from Herzegovina who had met the strict control standards for food to be exported to the EU market would appear on that market.

According to him, that market is very rigorous in terms of the analyses and certificates that products need to meet, so it is expected that the range of products available on the shelves of the Republic of Srpska House in Vienna will gradually increase.

– This will be a project that we will be proud of, because when we opened Herzeg House, we never dreamed that we would one day enter the EU market – added Dutina.

He said that the project had been implemented in cooperation with Serbs and Serbian businessmen in Vienna and with the help of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska, who had provided full support in organizing and implementing the project.

Dutina thanked everyone who had participated in project implementation, Milorad Dodik, the Head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Vienna Mladen Filipović, the Mayor of Trebinje Mirko Ćurić, and others without whose support the project would not have been implemented.

He also announced that the opening of Herzeg House in Novi Sad was expected soon, currently dealt with by the Trebinje Agrarian Fund, and he thanked the producers from Herzegovina for expanding their cooperation with Herzeg House every year.
