The Days of Serbia in Srpska event will continue today with programs in Andrićgrad, Prijedor and Kozarska Dubica.
The Script and Tradition – Inscriptions on Ethnographic Objects study exhibition of the Ethnographic Museum Belgrade authored by Vjera Medić will open in the Gallery of the Andrić Institute at 13:00.
The exhibition resulted from a research into the complex contents of the collection of one of the oldest museum institutions in Serbia, which marks 120 years since the first permanent exhibition this year.
This is one of the first researches conducted with the support of digitized museum documentation.
The exhibition, hosted by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information and the municipality of Višegrad, will be on display until the end of October.
The Days of Serbia in the Republic of Srpska will include showing of the films Dara from Jasenovac and Russian Consul in the House of Culture in Kozarska Dubica, and the film March on the Drina in the Kozara cinema in Prijedor.
The films will be shown in cooperation with the Film Center of Serbia.
The Days of Serbia in the Republic of Srpska was opened last evening in Banja Luka by the Serbian Culture Minister Nikola Selaković, who said that this event simultaneously showed, celebrated and contributed to the unity of the Serbian people in the most beautiful way possible.
This year again, the traditional event offers a rich program with 60 activities of 14 Serbian cultural institutions, to be included in the repertoire of related institutions in ten cities and municipalities throughout the Republic of Srpska.
The Days of Serbia in Srpska event is held under the auspices of the Serbian Ministry of Culture.
