The Mayor of Mrkonjić Grad, Dragan Vođević, visited the Austrian city of Wels yesterday, where he met with the Mayor of Wels, Andreas Rabl.

The meeting organized with the support of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria discussed the potential for improving business cooperation and cultural exchange between Mrkonjić Grad and Wels.

The Mrkonjić Grad Mayor said that the Serbian community in Wels was active and successful, and emphasized that our diaspora had the potential to contribute to strengthening the ties between the two cities.

On this occasion, the Mayor of Wels expressed readiness to visit Mrkonjić Grad with his associates in the coming period.

The meeting with the Wels Mayor was also attended by representatives of the Alliance of Serbs in Austria, Konstantin Dobrilović, candidate for the EU Parliament, and representatives of the cultural and artistic society Bosiljak from Wels.
