The third Assembly of the Serbian Youth of Europe took place in the Italian city of Trento. Associations from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia and Italy, as well as guests from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, participated in the event Brojanica organized by Vidovdan Association from Trentino.

It is also an opportunity for businessmen to meet and for presentation of potentials of the Republic of Srpska.

The event was also attended by the general manager of the Republic of Srpska University Clinical Centre, Vlado Đajić, who invited Italian businessmen to invest in Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska.

Strengthening of political and economic ties between Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska and Italy is the topic of the meeting of the UCC general manager with mayors and businessmen during his two-day stay in Italy.

The message is that in the coming period, Srpska can build good cooperation with Italian entrepreneurs, but also an opportunity to create new jobs.

– I met with the presidents of the Province and four mayors who want to bring businessmen to Banja Luka and Republic of Srpska, as well as to invest and create new jobs – said Đajić.

After the meeting with the businessmen, Đajić also attended the Brojanica event taking place in the Italian city of Trento, which brings together every year youth from Srpska who live and work in the diaspora.

– I am overjoyed to attend today’s meeting of about 1,000 of our people from the diaspora here. They are mainly youth and children. I wished them to live well and prosper here, and to come to Srpska and Serbia more often and not to forget their ancestors and roots – added the Republic of Srpska UCC general manager.

At thousands of kilometers away from their fatherland, the Assembly is the only opportunity for the youth to show that they have not forgotten to cultivate their traditions and customs.

– Thank you Vidovdan, the organizer Đorđe Milanović, for gathering us hundreds of kilometers from the Republic of Srpska and our motherland, Serbia, to share culture, tradition, Serbian alphabet and song together with children and youth. Thank you Italy for all this allowing the Serbs to nurture cultural feelings – said Milorad Arlov, president of the Banja Luka Committee for Assistance to Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija.

The organizer of the Assembly is Vidovdan Sports and Culture Union from Trento.

Associations from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia and Italy also took part in the Assembly in addition to participants from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
