From 6 to 8 May, Thessaloniki hosted the World King of Taekwon-Do international taekwon-do tournament, which is considered the strongest club tournament in the world in the version of the ITF – International Taekwon-Do Federation. Over 1,000 competitors from 100 clubs from all over the world took part in the tournament.

This year, members of the Taekwon-Do Club Srpski Soko from Zvornik and a member of the Taekwon-Do Club Falkon from Bijeljina took part in this prestigious tournament with the support of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Greece, and won three medals.

Emilija Blagojević achieved the greatest success by winning second place and a silver medal.

Srđan Mirković took the third place, and the club also came third in the team competition.

In addition to the competitors, also Miljan Ćosić, the coach of the Srpski Soko taekwon-do club, received a medal for his contribution to the development and affirmation of taekwon-do sport from the organizer of the club, i.e. the world and European champion Nikos Leousis.

Thus, the competitors worthily presented themselves and the club, the city of Zvornik, but also the Republic of Srpska.
