Zvornik Homeland Evening gathered 28 writers from the Republic of Srpska, Serbia and Canada.

Writer Milan Milošević, a retired Serbian Army colonel, said that he had begun writing poetry in 1992, after encountering the horrors of war as a Yugoslav Army officer. He stated that he had written seven books, and presented two poems from his latest collection Otadžbina se brani pesmom to the Zvornik audience.

Saša Milovanović, a poet from Belgrade, said that she wrote philosophical and thought-provoking poetry, and that she presented two poems from her opus to the audience.

Dragiša Tošić from Canada said that he was a satirist and puzzle designer and that he had not presented his poetry to the audience, but rather Dobrica Erić’s Defiant poem, which, according to him, was a poem of the Serbian national corps as a whole.

The patron of the homeland authors’ evening is the city of Zvornik.
