The Prime Minister of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Igor Mirović, said today in Banja Luka that a joint promotion of tourism capacities and potentials of Srpska and Vojvodina at fairs abroad was agreed at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković.
Mirović reminded that, due to a well-organized promotion of its potentials, Vojvodina had managed to bring to Novi Sad one of the largest Japanese companies and an investment of 750 million euro.
- This means that persistence and best possible organization are required, and I believe that we will now have Srpska as a partner in that - said Mirović after the meeting with Višković.
He also noted that Vojvodina was ready to help Kostajnica and Srpska in other ways, in addition to the assistance in construction materials to be delivered to the citizens of that municipality that day.
- By this, we demonstrate brotherhood, solidarity, unity in action, and that we care about the people of Srpska, as well as that our common policy should be aimed at the benefit of ordinary people - said Mirović.
He reminded that the cooperation between Srpska and Vojvodina had been intensified in the past four years.
- We felt the need, but we also had the obligation to help each other, in those social and life spheres where it was possible - said Mirović.
He noted that Vojvodina was one of the most developed Serbian regions, and a home to a large number of people from Srpska, as well as from other Serbian areas.
- It is at the same time a connection and an obligation to work on unity and connecting our institutions in all areas - said Mirović.
He added that the goal was for Srpska and Vojvodina to be more productive, especially in the field of economy.
- We launched cooperation of chambers of commerce, which has unfortunately slowed down somewhat due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the goal of creating a better economic ambiance, but also of enabling businessmen to make new deals and build their capacities - said Mirović.
He expressed satisfaction for having the opportunity to meet briefly with the Serb member and chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik.
