Minister without portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia responsible for the coordination of activities and measures in the field of relations with the diaspora, Đorđe Milićević, attended the Diaspora Youth Forum at Petnica Research Station near Valjevo.

On that occasion, Milićević said that the goal was to create conditions in which young people from the diaspora would feel connected to Serbia and have the opportunity to contribute to the development and prosperity of their homeland.

He invited youth from the diaspora to take part in the activities organized by Serbia, to share their ideas and suggestions, because, according to him, only through active exchange and cooperation can we build strong ties between you who live outside the borders of our country and Serbia itself.

This event, which was organized by the office of the Minister, aimed to bring together young people from several European countries and allow them to share their experiences and present the needs of the communities they came from, both from the region and from the diaspora.

During the three-day program, the participants had the opportunity to deal with various topics, such as education, science, culture, identity and entrepreneurship.
