Representatives of the 13 Republic of Srpska companies participating in the Fit4Austria project were presented certificates at a ceremony at the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Vienna.

During three days in Vienna, the participants of the Fit4Austria program had organized meetings with representatives of Austrian companies and Austrian Chamber of Commerce, and this project ended in the awarding of certificates of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WIFI International certificate).

The Head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria, Mladen Filipović, said on this occasion that the companies participating in the project had successfully completed training organized by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce during the previous few months.

‘The presented certificates have the character of public documents and are valid on the market throughout the EU, which is very important for our companies that want to achieve cooperation on the Austrian and European markets. The project goal was for our businessmen to make direct contacts with their Austrian peers and to consider the possibilities for cooperation improvement. In addition to the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, also the Austrian-Serbian Economic Forum supported the organization of the meetings,’ said Filipović.

Same as last year when two cycles were organized, the Fit4Austria project was implemented by the Representation in Austria in cooperation with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce’s WIFI Institute, Banja Luka Innovation Center, Chamber of Commerce and Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska.

During the three project cycles, last year and this year, more than 50 companies from the Republic of Srpska received certificates.
