The third summer school of the Serbian language for Serbian diaspora and foreigners organized by Matica Srpska Montenegro and supported by the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and municipalities of Nikšić and Budva, ended successfully.

During the period 10-30 July, 38 participants from several countries attended the summer school in Nikšić and Budva.

In addition to regular Serbian language classes, the participants were organized daily excursions, including visits to the Kosijerevo, Beška and Starčeva Gorica monasteries, Crvena Stijena archaeological site near Nikšić, and cruise on Lake Skadar. They had the opportunity to visit the Cetinje Monastery as well as numerous sights of the Montenegrin capital. Throughout the school, the participants also attended a folklore course at the public institution Zahumlje.

On the last day of school, a cruise of the Budva Riviera was organized and a final celebratory dinner held at the Jadran restaurant, during which the president of Matica Srpska Montenegro, prof. Jelica Stojanović PhD, presented the certificates.
