The Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag was marked last evening in Vienna with a formal reception organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria.

The celebration was held in the Albert Hall, gathering many distinguished guests, representatives of the Serbian diaspora and church dignitaries.

The event was opened by the Kornelije Stanković diocesan mixed choir performing the anthem God of Justice, followed by address by the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Austria, H. E. Marko Blagojević.

After the ambassador, the head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria, Mladen Filipović, addressed and extended best wishes to all those present.

Among others, the reception was attended by Aleksandar Vulin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and BiH Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Siniša Bencun.
