At a meeting in the City Administration, Trebinje Mayor Mirko Ćurić and representatives of the Vienna Serbian Center agreed that Trebinje would be a partner in organizing the St. Sava Ball in Vienna.

Mayor Ćurić said this was a continuation of cooperation with representatives of Viennese Serbs, who had supported our city’s earlier presentation in the Austrian capital.

‘We are extremely pleased that Trebinje is the first local community from the Republic of Srpska to be a partner in organizing the St. Sava Ball and that we will have the opportunity to present our city again in the most beautiful light,’ said Trebinje’s leading man.

He added that the meeting also discussed the continuation of cooperation in the field of tourism and economy.

Milan Vidović, president of the Serbian Center Vienna, says that this partnership is a continuation of successful cooperation.

‘The city of Trebinje is the first city from the Republic of Srpska to have the role of a partner city at the St. Sava Ball in Vienna. We have been connected with Trebinje already, we know that at the end of last year the city of Trebinje presented itself in Vienna and this is a continuation of our successful cooperation,’ said Vidović.

Slađana Skočajić, head of the city’s Culture Department, said it was a great honor for them to have the opportunity to participate in such an event and to present our city, business people and culture in Vienna.

The St. Sava Ball will take place on 6 February 2026 at the Hofburg Palace.
