The Tesla Science Foundation, one of the most zealous continuators of Tesla’s legacy, his spirit and vision of modern humanity, gathered the admirers of his character and work for the 14th time in New York. The program began on 9 January with the annual meeting of the steering committees of the Tesla Science Foundation USA and the Tesla Science Foundation Serbia to analyze the past year’s work and the achievements of volunteers devoting their time to presenting Tesla’s inventions and his spiritual image.

A day later, on 10 January, a conference at the New Yorker Hotel presented the works of those who have been most active in working on Tesla’s ideas, and those whose engagement contributes to the whole world learning as much as possible about Tesla’s contribution to humanity.

The central themes of this year’s conference were: Nikola Tesla in the educational system, Tesla’s vision of the future of humanity and his inventions and Preservation and promotion of Tesla’s image and work. For the first time, the Tesla Science Foundation organized the Tesla Cinema Fest, an online film festival dedicated to Tesla, his visions of the future of life on our planet and the contribution of Tesla’s people, the Serbs to the realization of that vision.

Since Tesla had spent his last day on earth, 7 January 1943, in New York, the Tesla Science Foundation agreed with the administration of the St. Sava Cathedral in Manhattan to commemorate one of Serbia’s greatest sons on 11 January.

From 11 to 13 January, a film documentation of Tesla’s legacy was organized for all conference participants in the places where our great scientist had lived and worked in New York. The Tesla Days in New York program concluded on 14 January with the exhibition Tesla Through Art at the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York and the celebration of the Tesla Science Foundation Day in New York, which had been proclaimed by a special declaration by Eric Adams, the former mayor of New York.
