The Regional Chamber of Commerce of Bijeljina presented a new digital platform and Viber community InfoBiz PK RS, aimed to improve business information and communication with the chamber system.

The Director of the Bijeljina Regional Chamber of Commerce, Slavica Marković, said that the project was very important for this company, as it would enable businessmen an insight into the activities of the Chamber of Commerce.

‘This year, the Regional Chamber of Commerce aims to increase promotion, that is, the activities to make our businessmen as well informed as possible and have as much information as possible about economic events and whatever concerns the operation of companies’, said Marković.

The Head of the Project Management and Analysis Center at the Republic of Srpska Chamber of Commerce, Olivera Radić, said that the goal of this project was to introduce the new digital platform to companies.

She stated that InfoBiz contained several different segments or several pieces of information of high importance for companies and their operations.

‘The first segment relates to the possibility offered to businessmen to have an overview of the current regulations in one place, to give their opinion and suggestions concerning regulations in draft or working version, but also to launch initiatives to amend the existing regulations’, Radić said.

She added that the second segment related to the fact that businessmen had the opportunity to obtain information about the financing of their activities, and had in one place all the information about the support of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, local communities, Srpska and BiH level institutions, and banks and international organizations.

The third segment, said Radić, related to the possibility of organizing online presentations.

‘We already have 300 users of this Viber community. The number of companies is growing daily, so our goal is to promote ourselves more and more in the coming period so that our members are well informed’, she said.

Radić stated that by using this platform, businessmen would be able to obtain information in a faster and simpler way and participate in the activities of the chamber.

‘There will be an overview in one place of the regulations currently in the procedure and those that have entered into force, and are significant for the economy, an overview of the announced public calls for co-financing business activities, current educations, meetings and other chamber activities’, she concluded.

The platform was developed within the project Creating support for maintaining and improving the operation of small and medium-sized enterprises under the conditions caused by covid-19, co-funded by the EU.
