US businesspeople and companies are interested in investing in the Republic of Srpska, is the message from the Invest Srpska investment event, organized by the BiH Consulate General Chicago and the Investment Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska, which was held in this city.

Invest Srpska brought together representatives of institutions, companies and organizations from the United States of America, as well as members of the Serbian diaspora, who had the opportunity to learn more about the Republic of Srpska as an attractive investment destination, its stimulating tax policy, public investments and key economic projects.

The event presented specific investment opportunities in the Republic of Srpska, ranging from public projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, tourism and other sectors of the economy, to investment opportunities in free and business zones.

In addition, offers for the sale of companies from the Republic of Srpska and some of their projects were presented to companies from the United States of America, with the aim of establishing and developing business activities both on the market of the Republic of Srpska, and on the markets of the European Union and the wider world.

The organizers say that the meeting in Chicago was an important step in promoting the investment potential of the Republic of Srpska on the US market and opening up new opportunities for economic cooperation.
