The first cycle of the Fit4Austria project ended last evening in Vienna with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce presenting certificates to representatives of the 13 companies from Banja Luka and Bijeljina that participated in this program.
The program implemented by the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Austria in collaboration with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Banja Luka Innovation Center and Republic of Srpska Development Agency, is aimed at connecting businessmen from the Republic of Srpska with Austrian businessmen, establishing new business contacts and entering the Austrian market more efficiently.
Within the first project cycle, the registered participants from Banja Luka and Bijeljina completed two training modules during the spring of this year, and the program ended in a three-day visit to Vienna which included a series of meetings between Republic of Srpska businessmen and representatives of Austrian companies and Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
‘This initiative aims to enable businessmen from the Republic of Srpska to establish new business contacts and improve cooperation with Austrian businessmen. Together with our partners, we invited all interested companies from the metalworking and woodworking sectors to apply for the project of connecting Republic of Srpska companies with businessmen in Austria. The aim of these trainings was to impart to the participants the knowledge that can contribute to their more efficient introduction to Austrian companies. With a three-day visit to Vienna and presentation of certificates, we are ending the first cycle of the program, and the project will continue in the autumn’, said the Head of the Representation, Mladen Filipović.
Started in Banja Luka and Bijeljina, the Fit4Austria project will last until the end of this year and include companies from other municipalities and cities of the Republic of Srpska in the next cycle.
