During a several-day visit to Greece, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Radovan Višković, spoke yesterday in the city of Corfu with its Mayor, Meropi Ydraiou.

The meeting discussed further strengthening and deepening of friendly and cultural and historical ties between the Serbian and Greek people, and expressed mutual interest in cooperation in various fields, with an emphasis on education and tourism.

The possibilities of establishing a Banja Luka-Corfu flight were also discussed, as well as plans for twinning between the city of Corfu and Trebinje and Višegrad.

Prime Minister Radovan Višković thanked the Mayor of Corfu, Meropi Ydraiou, for the support provided by this city to the Serbian-Greek Friendship Association, and expressed satisfaction that a Serbian-Greek Friendship Square would open soon in Corfu.
