The newly appointed head of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in France, Bojana Kondić Panić, stated that it was a great honor to continue promoting Srpska’s economic, cultural and tourist potential in this position and thus contribute to further strengthening of ties between the Serbian and French people.

– This is also a great responsibility, but I am sure that we will manage to build an even better image of the Republic of Srpska in one of the largest European countries. I will continue to work on connecting businessmen from the Republic of Srpska with France, but also on establishing cultural and university cooperation – said Panić, who is the former Ambassador of BiH in Paris.

Panić stated that French businessmen were interested in cooperating with the Republic of Srpska and that in the past month one company from France had already signed contracts with companies from the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of BiH in the field of textile industry.

– I recently visited a company operating in IT industry and they are interested in cooperating with universities in BiH, therefore also in the Republic of Srpska. There is a lot of potential and many launched projects that will be implemented in the coming period – Panić noted.

WE HAVE MANY FRIENDS IN FRANCE

She said that the Republic of Srpska had many friends in France, and that in the coming period she would work on further strengthening those ties.

– Our diaspora is also large and cultural cooperation is one of the goals. We plan to organize concerts by French artists interested in visiting Banja Luka, and also working on having our artists perform in France. I am sure that there will be success in the field of culture – said Panić.

She stated that cooperation was significant and that much more could be done in medicine, considering that France had made significant progress in that area.

– Agreements to improve this cooperation are also on the horizon. Naturally, there is significant cooperation in tourism. There will be many more activities in the coming period – announced Panić.

Bojana Kondić Panić was also the permanent representative of BiH to UNESCO, La Francophonie, the International Vine and Wine Organization, Bureau International des Expositions, and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
