The Foreign Investors Council of the Republic of Srpska held its first session at the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship yesterday, to analyze developments in the field of foreign investments in the Republic of Srpska and international investment trends. The key factors for attracting foreign investments in the Republic of Srpska were also analyzed, with a focus on business infrastructure and the capacity of local self-government units to attract investments.
The purpose of the Foreign Investors Council is to support and encourage foreign investments in the Republic of Srpska, improve business environment for foreign investors, and promote coordination and cooperation between institutions at the republic and local levels in the field of foreign investments. In April 2025, the Republic of Srpska Government adopted a new Decision on the Appointment of Members of the Foreign Investors Council of the Republic of Srpska, which consists of representatives of line ministries, local self-government units, the Chamber of Commerce and foreign investors.
