The Second Children’s European Festival of Serbian Diaspora Folklore was held on Saturday, 1 March, in the Swiss town of Dietikon. The Festival was organized by the Association of Serbian Diaspora Folklore (ASDF), and hosted by the Association of Serbian Folklore of Switzerland (ASFS). The competition part of the Festival program saw participation of 22 children’s folklore ensembles from 19 societies. The participating societies came from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Slovenia.

The participants were divided into three competition groups, junior, mixed and senior with a total of 615 folklore dancers.

The best junior category folklore ensemble is Zavičaj Cultural and Artistic Society from Winterthur, Switzerland.

The best mixed group ensemble is the V. S. Karadžić Serbian Cultural and Artistic Society from Schönenwerd, Switzerland. The best seniors ensemble in the competition is Sloga Cultural and Artistic Society from Zurich, Switzerland.

The Festival was overseen by a three-member jury consisting of Mirjana Drobac, MA ethnomusicology, Vilma Niškanović, ethnologist, and choreographer Velimir Agovski.
