The Serbian-Austrian Business Forum in Belgrade brought together seventy domestic and Austrian companies with the aim of exchanging experiences and strengthening mutual cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović stated that the Forum held at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce was a significant step in developing economic cooperation.
‘Austria has been one of Serbia’s most important and reliable partners for many years. Today’s meeting offers not only an opportunity to exchange ideas, but also a strong incentive for new projects, investments and partnerships, in not so great geopolitical circumstances,’ said Mesarović.
The Forum was addressed by the Acting Secretary General of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Dušan Kozarev, the Deputy President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mihailo Vesović, the President of the SCC Assembly, Miloš Nenadić, and the Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Austria, Mladen Filipović.
The Forum presented Expo 2027 project, economic potential of Serbia, and domestic and Austrian companies to the participants.
The Forum was organized by the Austrian-Serbian Business Forum, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Austria, and the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in the Republic of Austria.
