The President of the Banja Luka Regional Chamber of Commerce, Goran Račić, and his associates attended the 3rd Greek-Serbian tourism forum, which was held at the Ioannis Vellidis Congress Center in Thessaloniki.
The Forum, which was organized as part of the Philoxenia fair by the Greek-Serbian Chamber of Commerce for Industry, Tourism and Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises of Northern Greece and the Greek-Serbian Chamber, with the support of T.I.F. Helexpo, provided an opportunity for the promotion of shared cultural, historical, religious and tourism connections between Greeks and Serbs.
The plenary part, which included a presentation of the Republic of Srpska’s tourism potential among other things, was followed by a presentation of regional cooperation in the field of tourism. The Forum was attended by representatives of the Banja Luka Regional Chamber of Commerce, Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, Macedonian Chamber of Commerce Skopje, tourism organizations and representatives of accommodation facilities. Through presentations, they introduced the capacities of the Republic of Srpska, Vojvodina and Macedonia to Greek partners.
The fair in Thessaloniki is one of the largest and most important tourism fair events in Southeast Europe, which gathered a large number of visitors and important tourism entities from different parts of the world. At this year’s fair, the Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska and Tourism Organization of Trebinje presented their tourist offer.
The Philoxenia international tourism fair took place from 18 to 20 November 2022 in Thessaloniki.
