Novi Sad hosted the 31st Herzegovina sijelo, organized by the Association of Herzegovina Serbs and Friends in Serbia. On this occasion, the Mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić, wished those gathered a happy Orthodox New Year and much success in their work.
– To those gathered at the 31st Herzegovina sijelo, organized by the Association of Herzegovina Serbs and Friends in Serbia, based in our city, I wished a pleasant evening, a happy Orthodox New Year and much success in work. They inherit the Herzegovinian culture, preserving it for future generations and are an indispensable part of the identity of our city and its cultural diversity – said Đurić.
