An ecological and educational camp for Serbian children from the region and diaspora has opened in Bogatić, with more than 250 young people participating.
The camp was opened by the Minister without portfolio in the Government of Serbia in charge of relations with the diaspora, Đorđe Milićević, who said that the organization of such camps sent a message that Serbia would never allow the thread connecting the Serbian people to be lost.
– Every meeting of children from the motherland, the region and the diaspora is an investment in our future. It is a way to preserve our language, culture and identity, because only in this way can we be strong and worthy of the sacrifices of our ancestors who bequeathed Serbia to us – Milićević stated.
According to him, children from different countries speaking the same language, singing the same songs and feeling the same belonging is the strongest proof that Serbian identity cannot be broken, the Office of the Minister without portfolio announced.
