As part of his official visit to France, the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokić had a meeting with representatives of the economic and business sector of the Val-D’Oise department near Paris.

The meeting discussed the potential for the Republic of Srpska signing a cooperation agreement with this department, following the model of the one signed with the AP Vojvodina.

The Val-D’Oise delegation invited businessmen from the Republic of Srpska to visit the business and manufacturing companies fair, to be held in the Val-D’Oise area in March next year.

During the meeting, Minister Klokić invited a department delegation to a return visit to Banja Luka, which would contribute to further establishment of political, institutional and business contacts between France and the Republic of Srpska.

After the meeting, the minister visited Neuville-based Company Enertrag engaged in renewable energy sources.

The successful two-day visit to France ended with participation in the conference Diplomatic Career and Potential for Young People to Return to the Republic of Srpska from Abroad.

Minister Klokić told the students in Paris that the Government of the Republic of Srpska was working on several important policies and documents on creating chances and possibilities for the return of people from abroad.

We created the Diaspora Registry in order to identify experts and highly educated individuals, and for their potential decision to return to Srpska, we started designing a long-term development strategy that, with the support of the business sector, should create high-paying and competitive jobs, attractive for young experts from abroad.

On that occasion, he presented the potentials of Srpska, which, according to him, is becoming an increasingly advanced society year after year, with a business-friendly environment, low tax rates and a relatively unsaturated market for new business models and ideas.

The line ministry announced that the conference was organized by the Federation of Young Serbs of Europe, and that there were about 70 young participants studying in France and other European countries.

BiH Ambassador to France Bojana Kondić Panić also participated in the conference.
