Minister Klokić said that work still continued on institutional strengthening of ties with the diaspora, stating that one of the priorities in that regard was business cooperation.

– Wherever we go, we conduct campaigns to highlight the Republic of Srpska’s comparative advantages in investments, as well as the support of institutions in all investment stages. Also, in cooperation with our representative offices, we organize visits of businessmen from the diaspora to our institutions, where talks were held about business potential and conditions for investments – said Klokić.

He stated that trainings had been also organized for businessmen from the Republic of Srpska on entering the European market, thus enabling local companies to successfully cooperate with foreign companies, including those owned by people from the diaspora.

The tradition continued this year as well.

Representatives of Serbian associations and businessmen from Austria were gathered for a ceremonial lunch by the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in the Republic of Austria.

Our people from Austria came to Banja Luka on the occasion of the celebration of 9 January – the Day of the Republic of Srpska, and ceremonial lunch organized on the eve of the ceremonial academy was also attended by the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić.

Minister Klokić said that Srpska would continue the tradition of marking 9 January – the day of its creation in the country and abroad, as well as in the countries of its representative offices.
