Father and son Živan and Milutin Marković from Brusnica near Lopare have decided to partially transfer their geothermal energy experience and business from Switzerland to Majevica.
In Lopare, they founded the company MB Therm, which manufactures geothermal probes and components for geothermal energy exploitation.
The company’s director, Milutin Marković, said that they exported all their products to three countries, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, and that all manufacturing took place in Lopare employing three workers.
‘We manufacture thermal probes of various dimensions, shafts for the cold side of geothermal energy, complete components for geothermal energy,’ said Marković.
The Mayor of Lopare, Rado Savić, said he was glad that a young man like Milutin Marković born in Switzerland had come to Lopare and started manufacturing.
‘The manufacturing is specific and no one else does such manufacturing in this area. He has managed to find market for his products in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. This is an excellent example of how other young Majevicans can also connect love for their native land and business and be successful,’ said Savić.
The company MB Therm positions itself as a pioneer in the field of geothermal technology and sustainable solutions.
The company’s focus is on innovation and product quality, which contribute to a more efficient use of geothermal energy.
