The Renowned Serbs project is the most massive cultural event of educational character to be held this year, which aims to bring together young people from Serbia, Republic of Srpska, the region and Serbian diaspora. Its single goal is to preserve Serbian cultural identity, and to show the world civilization the enormous contribution of the Serbian people in its development.

In addition, this cultural event will contribute to the improvement of the image of Serbia and Serbian people in the region and world.

The project is planned to involve young people aged 10 to 15 from primary schools, clubs and communities from Serbia, the region and Serbian diaspora.

The procedure of registration of competitors will be the same as for the first Serbian international quiz competition Nemanjići, including filling out online forms through schools, churches, clubs, associations and other Serbian organizations from the diaspora.

Registration of teams is open until 15 November and the competition will be held in December this year and early next year.

Each team will consist of three members and have a person (teacher or other in charge) responsible for the work of the team.

All teams will prepare from preparatory materials published on the competition website.

The eight most successful teams from all parts of the world will participate in the finals of the competition. The semifinals and finals are planned to be held in Belgrade in April 2022.

The competition will take place under the supervision of a jury composed of eminent experts from various fields.

The quiz competition is organized by the Mir Božiji Foundation, and co-organized by the NGO Stari Mostovi Herceg Novi and the Association of Citizens Neimari Belgrade.

The collaborators on the project are the Directorate for Diaspora and Regional Cooperation in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of European Integration and International Cooperation in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and Ministries of Education in the Governments of Serbia and Srpska.
