The umbrella organization of independent Serbian associations from Lower Austria, KOSSA, marked its tenth anniversary.

On this occasion, a cultural event was held in Leobersdorf, including performances by folklore ensembles from the KOSSA community, and a concert by the Banja Luka ethno group Trag.

The program included workshops of the Duga (Rainbow) and Beli anđeo (White Angel) associations, and presentations of the famous Zmijanje embroidery, folk costumes, crocheting, knitting and other traditional crafts.

The event was also visited by the Head of the Representative Office, Mladen Filipović, who was presented a certificate of appreciation on this occasion by the representatives of the KOSSA organization for supporting the activities of Serbian clubs in Lower Austria.

‘The Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska will continue to support the work of our clubs and associations throughout Austria. With their enthusiasm and activities, our clubs preserve the tradition and identity, which is very important for the numerous Serbian community. It is always a pleasure to attend such events’, said Filipović.

After the promotion at the Republic of Srpska Representation in Vienna, the tourism offer of the Jahorina Olympic Center was presented in Leobersdorf.
