The shared goal of the Investment Development Bank of the Republic of Srpska and the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Brussels is a greater inflow of quality foreign direct investments to Srpska, this was stated during an IDB delegation’s discussion with the Head of the Representation, Mario Đuragić.

The IDB Srpska announced that within their visit to Brussels and continued activities on promoting the potential of Srpska, their delegation, consisting of members of the Bank’s management visited Srpska’s Representation in that city.

– The Bank’s management informed the head of the Representation about the specific activities of the IDB Srpska on presenting the investment profile of Srpska and profiles of our municipalities around the world – reads the statement.

They also discussed, it is added, the possibility of involving the Brussels Representation in the promotion of investment profiles, which collate all the economic potential of Srpska and facilitate interested investors’ access to information.

The representatives of the Bank’s management reminded that the IDB was an institution that, in addition to promoting the potential, also provided overall strategic support needed for the implementation of investment projects in Srpska.

The IDB Srpska delegation also participated in the two-day conference of directors of development banks, members of the European Association of Public Banks, held yesterday and today in Brussels.

The conference included presentation of a report on the work and activities of the European Association of Public Banks, and results of operation of the member banks.

The statement reads that discussions also covered macroeconomic impact of current global events on banking sector stability and supervision.
