The Chairwoman and Serb member of the Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, is visiting Hungary, where she met with His Eminence Bishop Lukijan of Buda, in Szentendre.

– I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit the Eparchy and to discuss important matters, as well as to see all the values and antiquities that illustrate the time. I am satisfied with the way Hungary treats what we have here – says Cvijanović.

She points out that she is impressed by the exhibition and the people who take care of everything at the Eparchy.

Bishop Lukijan of Buda said that such visits were expected for the consolidation of peace and ethical values, which the people of the Balkans knew how to protect.

– We are proud that we were able to show our guests the values that we have been keeping for centuries – says Buda Bishop Lukijan.

Cvijanović visited the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Buda Eparchy Serbian Orthodox Museum.

Yesterday, Cvijanović met with Hungarian President, Katalin Novak.
