The Association of Serbian Writers of Switzerland has continued its long-standing tradition of cooperation with the Swiss National Library in Bern by enriching the collections with its members’ new publications.
The Association’s president, Daliborka Šišmanović Kepčija, and members Mirjana Cvijanović and Snežana Petrović, visited this esteemed institution and met with Simone Nethovel, Head of the Acquisitions Department for Books and Monographs. They presented the library with the latest—the 22nd—edition of the anthology Zaveštanja 2026, and new works by Association authors that had not previously been part of the collection.
The handing of these publications ensures that the work of Serbian writers in Switzerland has a permanent place in the archives of the umbrella national library, remains accessible to researchers, readers, and future generations.
For over two decades, the Swiss Association of Serbian Writers has brought together authors from various generations, supporting their literary endeavors and building bridges between Serbian and Swiss cultures. By regularly handing the Zaveštanja anthology and standalone publications, the Association secures a prominent place for the Serbian written word within the cultural landscape of this Alpine country.
