Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region Vladimir Kokanović attended and addressed the audience at the traditional concert In the Eyes of Vidovdan, organized by the Vidovdan Serbian Cultural and Artistic Society from Ljubljana.

This concert is more than a cultural event – it is a testament to the commitment to preserving the Serbian language, tradition, customs and national identity among our compatriots in the Republic of Slovenia.

We extend special congratulations to all members of the Vidovdan SCAS for their exceptional results and winning the Golden Plaque at the European Festival of Serbian Diaspora Folklore. Their success is the pride of the entire Serbian community.

The Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region will continue to support the work of associations whose dedicated work preserves and strengthens the ties of our people with their homeland.

The event was also attended by Helena Krnetić, PhD, Assistant Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation in the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
