A conference on the diaspora Back to Srpska, Diaspora as a Bridge to the Future was held in Banja Luka today, attended by the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokić.
Minister Klokić participated in the panel on Institutional Support to Return.
The Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, presented the Back to Srpska contact point initiative at the panel, which will make it easier for our people in the world to access information and return to Srpska.
Klokić said that the goal of the Back to Srpska, Diaspora as a Bridge to the Future conference was to present everything needed for people from the diaspora to see an opportunity to return to the Republic of Srpska.
He cited a good example of Serbia, which was working institutionally on the return of Serbs from the diaspora.
– This is how the institutions of the Republic of Srpska should work also. I am glad that Srpska’s Prime Minister, Savo Minić, emphasized the importance of this topic – Klokić told reporters on the eve of the conference.
Klokić noted that there were more than 300,000 people from the Republic of Srpska in the diaspora.
The event is also attended by representatives of Serbian institutions responsible for diaspora issues and many other guests and participants.
Stronger cooperation with the diaspora means a stronger and more successful Republic of Srpska!
