As part of the event Days of Srpska in Serbia, the Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, Vladimir Kokanović, had a working meeting with the President of the Veselin Masleša Folk Dance and Song Ensemble (FDSE) from Banja Luka, Nemanja Knežević.
The meeting discussed ways of strengthening cultural cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, and promotion of traditional values, cultural heritage and artistic programs in Serbia. Among other things, important topics were discussed, such as the Masleša House project, which will aim to provide all the necessary conditions for every dancer and potential association member.
The President of the Veselin Masleša FDSE, Nemanja Knežević, expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of successful cooperation and emphasized the importance of improving cultural exchanges that contribute to the preservation of cultural identity and the strengthening of friendly ties between the people of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
The Director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, Vladimir Kokanović, said that such meetings were an important contribution to the development of cultural diplomacy and the continuation of intensive cooperation at all levels. He added that the Directorate would continue to support initiatives that contribute to the promotion of culture, tradition and art of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia, noting that the Directorate was at the disposal of all Serbs from the region and the wider diaspora, saying: ‘Here is your home.’
The Days of Srpska in Serbia event traditionally includes programs in the fields of culture, art, science and economy and offers a platform for strengthening mutual relations and cooperation, as well as for promoting the tourist and economic potential of the Republic of Srpska.
