The Vidovdan recital by students of the Serbian Supplementary School of Paris city and region was held on Sunday, 22 June 2025, in the ceremonial hall of the Church of Saint Sava.
The recital was opened by the coordinator of the Serbian Supplementary School, Marija Praizović, and the attendees were also addressed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to France, Ana Hrustanović, and Bishop Justin of Western Europe.
Then the students performed their program. ‘The inspired program, warm emotions, children’s smiles and large applause made us show once again that we are worthy descendants of our brave ancestors, and that we continue their thought and work through our words and actions,’ read the message from the Serbian Supplementary School in France. ‘Thank you to all the guests who graced our event, to the parents for their support and cooperation, to the teachers who designed and implemented the program, and most of all to our wonderful students for their hard work and beautiful performance. Until Vidovdan next year!’ said the teachers who teach students in Paris city and region.
This occasion was used to mention the distribution of National Readers for all first and second grade students at the Serbian School, to introduce them to the tradition, language, art and culture of the Serbian people.
