The minister without portfolio in charge of relations with the diaspora in the Government of Serbia, Đorđe Milićević, and Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić opened the event All Together, for a Stronger Serbia in Vrnjačka Banja this evening, where the participants are 120 children from Srpska aged between ten and 15.

Milićević said that he could not extend his welcome to the children from Srpska because they were neither guests in Serbia, nor the diaspora, but rather at their own, same as all Serbian children coming from the region, Europe and the world.

‘We will be as strong as we are united. That is why the Pan-Serbian Assembly produced the Memorandum that my friend and brother Zlatan Klokić and I signed at the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Srpska within the Pan-Serbian Assembly’, stated Milićević.

Klokić said that the All Together, for a Stronger Serbia event was an opportunity for children from the Republic of Srpska to learn something about the culture and history of Serbia and to become acquainted with its traditions, in addition to the beauty of Vrnjačka Banja and this part of Serbia.

After the grand opening ceremony at the Fontana hotel in Vrnjačka Banja, the event continues at the Bane Milenković Elementary School in Novo Selo with an exhibition game played between the teams including the ministers Milićević and Klokić, Vrnjačka Banja municipality representatives and event participants on the one side, and celebrated athletes of Serbia on the other.

During their three-day stay in Serbia, apart from Vrnjačka Banja and its surroundings, the children from Srpska will also visit Trstenik, Kruševac and Žiča monastery near Kraljevo.
