The Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, told RTRS that role of Republic of Srpska representative offices in the world was significant, because it was important to hear the voice of Srpska about political events in BiH.
Klokić said that the representations were endeavoring to make the voice of the Republic of Srpska heard, and were actively working on promoting Srpska in all segments.
He pointed out that economic connections were important, as well as cooperation with the diaspora, especially in Germany and Austria. He added that one of the goals was for the diaspora to serve the development of the Republic of Srpska, and that formation of the diaspora register was aimed at connecting with the motherland for the purpose of further development.
Regarding marking the Day of the Republic, Klokić, who attended the ceremonial academy in Novi Sad on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Srpska, said that one could feel the love and special connection of Serbia to Srpska.
He added that the same relation and energy towards Srpska could be felt in any city in Serbia.
Klokić announced holding of a ceremonial academy in Serbia on 28 February, the day of the adoption of the first Constitution of the Republic of Srpska, in accordance with epidemiological measures.
- Activities will also be organized in other representative offices, in accordance with the measures, given the restrictions in countries around the world - said Klokić in RTRS morning program.
