The Head of the Republic of Srpska Representation in Austria, Mladen Filipović, spoke today in Banja Luka with the acting director of the Republic Secretariat for Displaced Persons and Migration, Ljubo Ninković.

The meeting presented the Secretariat’s successfully implemented projects on sustainable return intended for displaced persons and returnees through the provision of assistance in the form of donations, and planned projects to be implemented in the coming period by the Republic Secretariat for Displaced Persons and Migration.

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and donors, the Republic Secretariat for Displaced Persons and Migration is implementing several projects of great importance for solving the problems of displaced persons and refugees, which are also important for the diaspora in Austria.

The Head of the Representation noted the importance of coordination with associations and individuals in the diaspora in Austria for providing information and support in taking the opportunities for returnees or investors, so that they can access the available funds as efficiently as possible.

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, several important projects are being implemented within this program, including construction and renovation of housing units, renovation of infrastructure, religious buildings, sustainable return projects, construction of community centers and other projects.
