The guests at the reception are all those who will watch this year’s celebration in Serbia of 9 January, the Day of the Republic of Srpska, and 28 February, the day when the first Constitution of the Republic of Srpska was adopted, reads the announcement.
The Republic of Srpska marks 9 January as the Day of the Republic because it was founded on that date in Sarajevo in 1992 under the original name The Serbian Republic of BiH, and the then Assembly of the Serbian People of BiH passed the Declaration on the Proclamation of the Republic of the Serbian People of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first Constitution was adopted on 28 February 1992, under the name of the Constitution of the Serbian Republic of BiH, and was the foundation of the legal power, security, legality and legitimacy of the Republic of Srpska.
Први Устав донесен је 28. фебруара 1992. године под називом Устав Српске Републике БиХ и био је темељ правне моћи, сигурности, легалитета и легитимитета Републике Српске.
