A literary evening dedicated to Aleksa \u0160anti\u0107, Jovan Du\u010di\u0107 and Laza Kosti\u0107 was held in Munich, organized by the Bavarian-Serbian Academic Forum (BSAF). The program brought together numerous literature lovers from the Serbian community in Bavaria and was dedicated to nurturing Serbian cultural traditions in the diaspora. The organizers say that the goal of such meetings is to preserve and promote Serbian literature and culture among our people in the diaspora, and to connect artists and the audience through cultural programs.<\/p>\n
The program was opened by Mirjana Premovi\u0107, who spoke about the importance of organizing cultural events in the diaspora and the need to nurture the Serbian language and cultural identity among our people abroad through literature and art.<\/p>\n
The event was also attended by representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Munich. Consul General Bo\u017eidar Vu\u010durovi\u0107 addressed the audience and also read verses from his poetic work. Nata\u0161a Pavlovi\u0107 Hek spoke about the life and literary work of \u0160anti\u0107, Du\u010di\u0107 and Kosti\u0107, presenting biographical information and literary significance of these authors in the history of Serbian literature. The artistic part of the program included reading verses from famous poems by the above poets. The musical segment of the evening was marked by a performance by Ana Isakovi\u0107, accompanied by Kamil Hunder on guitar. Songs inspired by Serbian poets\u2019 verses were performed, including Emina, \u0160to te nema and Tiho no\u0107i. A special part of the program was a stage show inspired by the poem Santa Maria della Salute.<\/em> At the end of the evening, poets Dragana Grujinovi\u0107 Kaji\u0107 and Bojan Lojpur presented their original verses to the audience.<\/p>\n The Bavarian-Serbian Academic Forum is a non-profit association in which the management and members work on voluntary basis. The association is made up mainly of academically educated citizens of Serbian origin from various professions (doctors, engineers, lawyers and others). The goal is to strengthen the dialogue between the Serbian and German people, and to create lasting bridges of cooperation in the fields of culture, education, economy, science and social life. For a number of years, the association has been successfully holding cultural, educational and social events, thus promoting Serbian culture, language and identity in Bavaria in a dignified manner. A particularly noteworthy is the organization of the Evenings of Serbian Culture in Bavaria, as well as numerous forums, literary evenings and thematic gatherings, which were covered by relevant media in Serbia and the diaspora. In addition to cultural activities, an important work segment is education of the youngest.
