This year, the Cyrillic Museum in Ra\u010da near Bajina Ba\u0161ta organized the first Roots and Wings cultural and educational camp for children from the region and the diaspora, in which schoolchildren from the Republic of Srpska also participated.<\/p>\n
Mia Bo\u017eanovi\u0107 from Isto\u010dno Sarajevo said that young people had come to Ra\u010da primarily to preserve tradition and pass it on to future generations, but also to socialize and make new friends.<\/p>\n
An\u0111ela Babi\u0107 from Vi\u0161egrad stated that she was most interested in new work, learning, all the workshops and socializing, while Damjan Radovi\u0107 from Bijeljina said that he was particularly interested in playing basketball.<\/p>\n
Camp coordinator Petar \u010coli\u0107 said that the goals of the camp were socializing of young people from the diaspora and the region with young people living in Serbia.<\/p>\n
\u2018Naturally, all this implies a series of workshops, or thematic units, which will primarily relate to cultural and historical heritage, the Serbian language and Cyrillic script, and of course some excursions,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
