Last weekend in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Serbian Society Sin\u0111eli\u0107 celebrated its 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n
\u2018It is a great honor to head such a society that is celebrating half a century of existence. Sin\u0111eli\u0107 SS was founded back in 1974 and as such is the first Serbian society in Europe. This year, our main goal will be to present culture, discuss Serbdom, preserve Serbian faith, Serbian tradition, culture, and these have been the principal tasks for all of us in these 50 years,\u2019 says Svetislav Sveta Lazi\u0107, president of the Serbian Society Sin\u0111eli\u0107..<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018It is an exceptional jubilee and a great honor and privilege to be part of this evening\u2019s Sin\u0111eli\u0107 SS jubilee. Half a century of dedicated, committed effort, work, energy, aimed at preserving our culture, history, tradition, identity and the first 50 years of existence and operation of the SS Sin\u0111eli\u0107 are a symbol of the strength and unity of our people living in Gothenburg, Sweden.
