The Mayor of Ni\u0161, Dragoslav Pavlovi\u0107, received a delegation of the Republic of Srpska within the Days of Srpska in Serbia event and they discussed past cooperation of Srpska\u2019s local administrations with this city and ways to improve it.<\/p>\n
After the meeting, the Assistant Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Nemanja Kova\u010devi\u0107, said that the relations and cooperation of Ni\u0161 with the municipalities and cities in the Republic of Srpska were friendly.<\/p>\n
He stated that Serbs from Serbia and Republic of Srpska were one people working on national unity and noted that Srpska Days in Serbia was an opportunity for Srpska to present its creativity, culture, economy.<\/p>\n
\u2018This is the event\u2019s 12th year and we are presenting in 12 cities. It is a pleasure to have Ni\u0161 among those cities. The event aims to strengthen those ties and establish connections. It is always with pleasure that we come to Ni\u0161. This city and Banja Luka share a historical connection, and we are always warmly welcomed,\u2019 said Kova\u010devi\u0107.<\/p>\n
On the third day of Srpska Days in Serbia, on Monday, 23 September, programs were held in Kru\u0161evac, Po\u017earevac and Subotica.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia, Mla\u0111en Cicovi\u0107, and Head of Kru\u0161evac City Administration, Vesna An\u0111eli\u0107, agreed yesterday on joint development of a youth project that would relate to preserving the Serbian language and organizing meetings of small and medium-sized enterprises with local capital from Bijeljina and Kru\u0161evac.<\/p>\n
After the meeting within the Days of Srpska in Serbia, Cicovi\u0107 said that producers of food products from Srpska would be presented in Novi Sad at the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina.<\/p>\n
He stated that it had been agreed with the representatives of Kru\u0161evac City Administration to develop joint projects involving young people.<\/p>\n
\u2018When we involve youth in the projects related to the preservation of our identity, culture, tradition, Serbian language and Cyrillic, then it is a guarantee that we are doing the right thing. The generations to come should take over everything that the previous ones did to build and preserve our identity in these territories,\u2019 Cicovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
He noted that the people of Serbia and Srpska was one people, and if it survived in these territories and preserved its identity, he was certain that they would know how to define all economic projects.<\/p>\n
An\u0111eli\u0107 said that the project to be related to preserving the Serbian language and to involve youth would be implemented at the Youth Office level.<\/p>\n
\u2018It is always our pleasure to accept all invitations to our Republic of Srpska, so we attended their fairs. They were also present at ours, such as the agricultural fair. We are always glad to accept\u2019, An\u0111eli\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
Within the Days of Srpska in Serbia, the Mayor of Po\u017earevac, Sa\u0161a Pavlovi\u0107, received a delegation of the Republic of Srpska led by the Assistant Minister of Culture Tanja \u0110akovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
\u0110akovi\u0107 said that the Serbian cultural space was unified and therefore everything that was created by the one Serbian nation on both sides of the Drina constituted a shared tangible and intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n
She stated that this gave rise to the obligation to continue successful cooperation and strengthening Serbian national and cultural identity, and to do everything that had been done so far even better and stronger.<\/p>\n
The Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Srpska National Theater had a concert in the Grand Hall of Subotica City Hall within the Srpska Days in Serbia event.<\/p>\n
The Representation of the Republic of Srpska in Serbia has been organizing the Days of Srpska in Serbia for twelve years.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Srpska Days are being held in 12 cities in Serbia \u2013 Belgrade, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Subotica, Kru\u0161evac, Po\u017earevac, Novi Sad, Sombor, Ni\u0161, Vranje, Sremska Mitrovica and Zrenjanin.<\/p>\n
