The Serbian House was officially opened in Paris today as part of the 2024 Olympic Games, and the opening attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, who cut the red ribbon, and the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik.<\/p>\n
The host of the Serbian House, Danijel Nikoli\u0107, greeted the first guests and introduced the exhibition Roots by Du\u0161an Jovovi\u0107, who showcased the best coming from Serbia, such as Nikola Tesla, Milutin Milankovi\u0107, Mileva Mari\u0107 Einstein and many other artists.<\/p>\n
The Serbian House located in La Villette Park, renamed the Nations Park during the Olympic Games because of its hosting no less than fifteen national houses, will be a unique center offering visitors a rich and interactive experience of Serbian culture, history, sports and gastronomy.<\/p>\n
This multifunctional pavilion is designed as a place where tradition and modernity meet, through innovative multimedia presentations and cultural events.<\/p>\n
The central part of the Serbian House will be the 6.5-meter-high art installation Roots, symbolizing the Tree of Life, which will evoke the deep roots of the Serbian people and their traditions, culture, and history.<\/p>\n
The gastronomic part of the pavilion will allow visitors to enjoy traditional Serbian dishes prepared in a modern way by the most talented young chefs of Serbia from the Junior Chefs Club.<\/p>\n
A note was made also of the importance of Serbia\u2019s tourism offer, economy based on modern technologies, innovations in science, and plans for EXPO2027.<\/p>\n
The Serbian House will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and entry will be free for all visitors.<\/p>\n
The Serbian House project is implemented by the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with the key partners being the Embassy of Serbia in Paris, the Tourism Organization of Serbia and the Olympic Committee of Serbia.<\/p>\n
