On Sunday, 2 June 2024, the final performance of the Serbian supplementary school Jovan Mileti\u0107 was held in the Church of Saint Spyridon in Trieste. More than a hundred students performed, reciting and singing about the Serbian language, the Cyrillic alphabet and Orthodoxy.<\/p>\n
The president of the Trieste Serbian Orthodox Church Municipality, Zlatimir Selakovi\u0107, welcomed the guests which included: Ljubica Mihajlovi\u0107 from the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Trieste, Lidija Radovanovi\u0107, president of the Association of Serbs in Italy, Marina Savi\u0107 and Tamara Antonijevi\u0107, president and vice-president of the Serbian cultural and artistic society Pontes Mostovi from Trieste, president and secretary of the Association Vuk Stefanovi\u0107 Karad\u017ei\u0107 from Trieste, Maja Berovi\u0107, president of the Cultural Association of Serbian Youth from Trieste.<\/p>\n
The Learning Makes You Grow final event for the 2023\/24 school year of the Serbian language supplementary school of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia for the teaching places of Sochaux, Belfort and Mulhouse in Eastern France was held in Belfort on 22 June 2024. A joint exhibition of art works by students of Sveti Sava elementary school from Toponica, Kni\u0107 and students of the supplementary school was opened on this occasion. The students, who are also members of the Bo\u017eur folklore section in Belfort, performed several folk dances.<\/p>\n
\u2018This was also an opportunity to thank the collaborators who supported our work during the school year: Republic of Serbia Consulate in Strasbourg and Consul Slavoljub Cari\u0107, St George Parish Strasbourg \u2013 protopriest Petar Luki\u0107, St Archangel Michael Parish Mulhouse \u2013 hieromonk Maksim Ili\u0107, Nikola Tesla Club Mulhouse \u2013 Milo Bratuljevi\u0107, and French-Serbian Friendship Association Belfort \u2013 Radovan Peri\u0107,\u2019 said the teacher Zorica Sorak.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, 29 June 2024, the final event for the end of the school year was organized in the town hall in Arenthon. The event was attended by students of the Serbian supplementary school, their parents and members of the Devet Jugovi\u0107a association. At the final event in Strasbourg, the following program was performed: Kapetan D\u017eon Piplfoks by Du\u0161ko Radovi\u0107, Zamislite deco by Du\u0161ko Radovi\u0107, Plavi \u010duperak by Miroslav Anti\u0107 and Muzika na struju by Bajaga. On the eve of Vidovdan, students in Dijon ended this school year with the ceremonial awarding of report cards, commendations, diplomas and books. Students of the Lyon Serbian supplementary school finished this school year with a lesson dedicated to Vidovdan.<\/p>\n
